Have you heard of the diet yo-yo? Most people trying to lose weight
have.
It's a simple reality. You try to lose weight. You see some early
success, then you go back to eating the way you used to...and the
weight piles back on, sometimes ballooning to more than what you
lost.
Isn't that a pain in the neck? Isn't it frustrating?
You bet it is, and it's also terribly unhealthy.
Okay, so we agree that yo-yo dieting stinks. Now for the shocking
truth the weight loss industry does their best to hide from you...
Weight loss is simple.
You don't have to be some kind of dietary genius to figure it out.
You also don't have to live at the gym, or hire a personal trainer,
or eat like a bird.
In fact, here's the secret to losing weight. Losing weight is
about...
1) What you eat
2) How often you eat
3) How much you exercise
It's NEVER about more than that, no matter what the weight loss
gurus tell you.
It doesn't matter how much weight you have to lose, or how stubborn
those pounds are. You can indeed lose weight if you have a simple
plan to follow that will help you.
Let me share three HUGE weight loss myths with you right here, and
debunk them for you.
MYTH 1: Diets Don't Work
Hogwash. Of course they do!
When is the last time you saw a starving person look like Luciano
Pavarotti? It doesn't happen. If you reduce what you eat, you'll
lose weight.
It's true that you might plateau after you reduce what you eat, but
that won't last. Stick with it and you'll drop the pounds.
MYTH 2: Eating 2-3 Meals A Day Will Drop The Pounds
Nope, not very often.
Most people think snacking is what packs on the pounds, but it
really isn't. It's more about what you eat.
Actually, eating only 2-3 meals a day can screw up your metabolism
and make it harder to lose the weight you want to lose. Eating more
often (but not more total calories in a day) can speed up your
metabolism and help you drop pounds.
MYTH 3: _______ Foods Make You Gain Weight
The most common way to fill in that blank these days is to say
carbs make you gain weight. But that's simply not true.
What makes you gain weight is eating too much for your activity
level. It's that simple.
There is no magic food that's good or bad. Too many calories is
what's bad.
So now you know the truth. Not too complicated, right?
The even better news is that my book Easy Natural Weight Loss makes
it (get ready for a surprise) FUN to lose the weight you want to
lose.
If you've been looking for a simple way to lose weight without
eating like a freak or spending hours at the gym every day, this is
it!
